Proportional valve control with electronic failsafe
The BARIQ BRQ-ACT-13 is a compact electromotive actuator for water-bearing valves in heating, cooling and building automation systems. It combines proportional control, automatic travel recognition, NFC commissioning and a backlit LCD with electronic power-loss positioning.

Electronic failsafe
After a supply interruption of at least 2 seconds, stored energy moves the valve to its selected parking position. The default is 0%, adjustable from 0% to 100% in 10% steps. A fully depleted energy store requires 16 hours to charge; residual charge may be low after long storage.
Installation and commissioning
Plug-in valve adapter, detachable cable and manual adjustment simplify installation. Select the adapter to match the valve geometry: standard M30 × 1.5, with alternative adapters described in the data sheet. NFC allows configuration of force, speed, stroke, feedback and valve characteristic. Initial travel recognition can take up to 7 minutes.
